New Year's ResolutionsA co-worker of mine once told me that she believed even years were lucky. “Even’s are when all the good stuff happens,” she said. It is an interesting philosophy. Both my daughters were born in even years, and I feel very lucky to have them in my life.

But is my former colleague correct?

I believe that luck is more than just a random result of serendipity. It is the intersection of timing and preparation. Think about that? Does it make sense?

Verbalizing your resolutions is important. It’s the necessary groundwork to super charge your new year.  It’s the preparation piece of your luck.

The next step is to turn those resolutions into real world results. You’ve got to create your time-table to make them stick.
